DAY 1

Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
Depart Arusha for Lake Manyara National Park. Arrive at the lodge or camp by lunch time. Lunch and afternoon game drive follows in this very scenic park with fabulous views over the valley to the lake below. Lake Manyara National Park is small, beautiful and richly diverse, its manageable size makes it possible to see virtually every highlight in a day, from its pods of hippos wallowing in the lake alongside the pink fluttering of a million flamingoes, to its rich wildlife and perhaps some of the park’s famous tree-lounging lions.

DAY 2
Lake Manyara – Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, we’re off on the next leg of our journey to Ngorongoro, the eighth wonder of the natural world. Along the way we drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area—a region created to accommodate the grazing needs of the Masai people and a unique test of the idea that humans leading a pastoral lifestyle can coexist with wildlife. We arrive at Ngorongoro in time for lunch at our lodge or camp,
This magnificent natural amphitheater contains the largest concentration of animals in all of Africa. Prides of lion, black rhino and elephant share this land with the legendary Masai tribesmen. Because the grasses are short, game is easily spotted and can be approached quite closely. We spend a splendid morning on the floor of the crater observing wildlife in this ageless World Heritage Site.

DAY 3
Ngorongoro Crater – Tarangire National Park
Today we drive to Tarangire National Park. With a permanent water source, the park is virtually guaranteed enormous herds and excellent game viewing including cheetah, lion (some tree-climbing!), leopard and hyena and a herd of 3,500 elephants. The park is also host to a number of rare species including eland, oryx, kudu and gerenuk.

DAY 4
Tarangire – Drive back to Arusha – Depart
After a leisurely buffet breakfast, depart for Arusha by road this morning with a game drive en- route.

• HOW DO I PAY, WHEN AND HOW MUCH DEPOSIT?

  We require

  30% deposit to confirm a booking, sent by wire transfer to our bank

  account, and balance is payable at least 14 days prior to commencement

  of the safari. See our term & conditions for further

  information.




• HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY SAFARI?

  It is

  better to book as far in advance as possible to ensure availability at

  the time you wish to travel, especially during the high/peak seasons –

  June to Oct and Christmas/New Year season.




• WHAT TYPE OF VEHICLES DO YOU USE ON SAFARI?

  We use

  7-seater custom safari minibuses with pop-up roof ideal for game

  viewing and sight seeing. The buses are fitted with HF long range

  radios for easy communication and are well maintained to provide

  maximum level of comfort and safety. In addition to the above, all our

  vehicles are fully equipped with cool-boxes and first aid kits.

  All our safari drivers are trained tour guides, friendly, experienced,

  knowledgeable and are committed to ensuring clients’ satisfaction.

• HOW MANY PEOPLE DO YOU TAKE ON A SAFARI?

  Most of our

  safaris operate on private basis with a minimum of two persons

  booking, and we recommend not more than 6 persons for maximum comfort

  and guaranteed window seats.




• ARE WE GUARANTEED TO SEE THE ‘BIG FIVE’?

  We cannot

  guarantee this, as all of the animals are in their natural

  environment. However, with our well though-out itineraries and chosen

  locations you will not be disappointed.
